About Event

Join us for a CLIMATE FEELINGS themed night of collective catharsis in the form of an audience-participation based punk show.

Anyone is welcome to come on stage and improvise a song about whatever is on their heart. Ecological grief, our strange LA spring. Personal, political, and planetary climates. Or just the silly and absurd. It’s all connected.

We’ll be joined by

– Journalist Caroline Tracey reads from her new book Salt Lakes, on the mystery and beauty of what is disappearing

– UCLA environmental economist Will Rafey performs the unspeakable math of climate science

Doors at 7:30 pm

Show at 8:00 pm

All ticket sales go to support Scribble’s sliding scale therapy program.

Emergency Punk Show: A Community Service is an ongoing series of audience-participation-based punk shows.

In the spirit of collective catharsis, anyone is welcome to come on stage and, backed by the punk band, improvise a song about whatever is on their heart. We welcome expressions of grief/rage/confusion/joy/love/disgust about the personal, political, and planetary while keeping it fun and playful for everyone in the room.

Scribble is a nonprofit counseling center and community events venue located in Highland Park, Los Angeles.

Our counseling center is located at 5531 York Blvd and provides sliding scale mental health services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Our venue is located at 5541 York Blvd and hosts all-ages shows, talks, classes, and workshops with an emphasis on community building.
