Join in the fun of Burbank’s Earth Day event, “Planet Power!” with green activities, live music, and Eco-friendly vendors.
There will be a bicycle obstacle course, puppet shows, and a Share Fair (like a yard sale, but everything is free). There will be worm races, a Book Mobile, and food trucks. There will be rock painting, family yoga, and a Speakers Corner (highlighting local environmental heroes). Come meet the landfill’s falcon and owl to learn how they help. Come find out if you know more than a 5th grader when it comes to sorting waste. Come play games and chat with many wonderful people doing amazing work in our community.
This is a multi-partner event hosted by Burbank Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Sustainable Burbank Commission, Burbank Recycling Center, Burbank Water & Power, and Burbank Eco Council.
