Please join us for a special edition Environment Support Party!
Support parties provide compassionate folks with a fun, positive opportunity to meet new friends, pitch in with projects, spend time with rescued farmed animals, and learn more about our sanctuaries and efforts to protect animals from abuse. In honor of Earth Day, we will also be hosting a composting course!
Longtime & new volunteers are all welcome; we appreciate your help in getting the sanctuary prepared for a hot summer!
Volunteers have been an integral part of the Farm Sanctuary team since we began back in 1986, and are key contributors to our success. Volunteers help us carry out our mission by improving the lives of farmed animals, inspiring change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and promoting compassionate vegan living.
Below are the approximate details for the day.
- 9:00 am: Check in with the Experience Team in the Courtyard
- 9:15 am-9:45 am: Volunteer Orientation
- 9:45 am-12:00 pm: Volunteer Project Work
- 2:00 pm-1:00 pm: Vegan Potluck Lunch with Complementary Drinks & Dessert (optional)
- 1:00-2:00 pm: Composting Workshop (optional)
- 2:00 pm-3:00 pm: Complimentary Guided Tour of the Sanctuary (optional)
