Join the LA Kooky Surfer Girls community for a Saturday morning beach cleanup followed by snacks and surfing at our friendliest West Side point break: Sunset Point! Although we are a female founded and led surf group, this event welcomes everyone! Come for the cleanup, the surfing or both!
Meet us in the Gladstones parking lot at 9 am, we will provide gloves, bags and good vibes for the cleanup portion! Post cleanup we’ll refuel with some snacks and surf around 10:15 am!
Please note that Sunset beach is accessible by a steep “ramp” from the parking lot, stairs from the PCH or rocky/sandy stairs on the south end (we will be happy to show you the ropes when we meet at the parking lot :)). The beach is not wheel chair accessible. There is free parking available along the PCH or for a few in the Gladstones lot.
Come alone, being a friend, and/or feel free to bring a snack to share! Don’t forget your surf board! Please note we do not provide lessons or surf gear, just comraderie and fun in the water! This is a free event!
