Shemesh Farms, a social enterprise that employs adults with diverse abilities, invites you to join them on Tuesday, April 14th, from 10:30-12:30 to work on all aspects of our herb farm and inclusive program. We will harvest, sort, and process herbs, compost food waste, learn about hydroponics, and plant marigolds in garden beds to help our herbs and vegetables grow. Volunteers will work side by side with adults with diverse abilities- known as our farm fellows- and experience how nature and farming can offer therapeutic experiences while practicing sustainable farm methods.
