Join Anawakalmekak and the Gabrielino-Shoshone Nation of Southern California (GSN) in the launch of our compost hub in partnership with LA Compost! We will have a special workshop from LA Compost about the ins and outs of composting as well as a native plant restoration workshop hosted by Chief Ya’anna Learning Village land stewards and GSN tribal members. All skill levels and ages are welcomed. This event is rain or shine! Refillable water bottles and hats are strongly recommended.
