Frequently Asked Questions

When is Los Angeles Climate Week 2027?

April 2 to 12, 2027. The week is the peak, but organizations are building year round, and the calendar fills as they do.

Last season, 283 organizations produced 389 events across Los Angeles County. We put that work in one place, help organizers shape and place it, and bring people to it. Our job is reach — 115 zip codes and 35 cities so far. What happens inside an event belongs to the organizer.

How we’re structured →

Submissions are open year round. It’s free, it takes about ten minutes, and you don’t need our permission to build something.

Nothing here costs you anything. Listing an event is free, attending is free, volunteering is free. Sponsors and donors cover the work so the people who show up don’t have to.

Support the work →

Every event belongs to the organization hosting it — a repair café, a policy roundtable, a block party. We help organizers shape and place what they’re building. We don’t endorse the positions of listed events or organizers.

Browse who’s building →

Open roles are posted on the volunteer page, and most of them you can sign up for directly. If nothing’s posted or nothing fits, leave your name on the interest form there and we’ll come find you when something opens. Planning teams work differently — those roles aren’t posted yet, and we’ll talk with you before you join one.

Yes. Sponsorship supports a full year of work with its peak in April, and it comes with an introduction to the 283 organizations building alongside you.

Sponsorship and a discovery call →

Los Angeles County already holds more of this work than any one sector can see. That’s what the week is built around. Last season, 283 organizations built something across 35 cities and 115 zip codes — in labs, in libraries, on blocks — and putting it in one place is what lets a utility executive and a block captain end up in the same room. Your event stays yours. We make sure it lands where people can find it.
