The grinded and piled wood chips from tree trimming of trees at the Arcadia Ecohome will be spread over exposed top soils at the Ecohome’s micro-forest. This mulching project to add organic materials to the forest floor helps restoring the floor’s capacities of sinking carbon, water & heat and for soil biodiversity. We’ll then share what we do online as part of our grassroots activities for taking part in the celebrations of LA Climate Week, International Plant Appreciation Day and National Gardening Day 2026 that all taken place around the same time.
