Join Algalita, BYO Long Beach, and the Moore Institute for Plastic Pollution Research for a relaxed and welcoming Clean Bay Collective Open House. During this drop-in event, guests are invited to explore our shared learning center, microplastics lab, and reuse store while getting to know the people and programs working to protect our local waters.
This is a choose-your-own-adventure experience where you can move through the space at your own pace. Meet our team, see where our work takes place, and learn how Clean Bay Collective connects our community with Alamitos Bay through education, stewardship, and community science.
Throughout the event, you can stop by hands-on demonstrations happening around the space. Take a closer look at microplastics and marine life through microscopes, explore the water quality testing kits used in Clean Bay Collective monitoring, and learn how community scientists help track the health of the bay.
Whether you are a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, we invite you to come by, ask questions, and get to know our space and programs.
