About Event

As part of LA Climate Week, CAMEO Network and the Greenlining Institute (GLI) will co-host a virtual roundtable to launch the Climate, Community & Economic Resilience (CCER) Series.

This session will bring together leaders from across the small business ecosystem—including lenders offering green and/or disaster preparedness products, those exploring green lending opportunities, and organizations supporting small businesses engaged in sustainable practices. The roundtable will serve as an early engagement and listening session to gather insights that will shape the CCER Series and advance equitable access to climate-related capital for small businesses of color.

Objectives
– Increase awareness of existing and emerging green and disaster preparedness lending products
– Identify key barriers and opportunities in deploying climate finance for small businesses
– Gather real-time ecosystem insights to inform CCER data, programming, and policy priorities
– Insights from this discussion will inform the Greenlining Institute’s ongoing efforts to expand equitable access to climate finance and strengthen pathways for small businesses of color to participate in and benefit from the green economy.

This meeting is part of LA Climate Week, a year-round, community-powered movement culminating April 8–15, 2026, uniting organizations, neighborhoods, industries, and institutions across the Los Angeles region to design our climate future together.

Liza Rivera – CAMEO Network

Liza Rivera has nearly a decade’s worth of experience working in the nonprofit sector, leading all aspects of economic and green space initiatives, developing grassroots movements, and honing her skills as an organizational leader, facilitator, and educator. In her last role as program director, she created a home craft program that empowers women in low-income communities to increase their income through selling self-made products.
