About Event

Join us for a community-centered conversation focused on turning local insights into real, accessible solutions.

In the wake of the 2025 Pacific Palisades and Altadena fires, many residents are asking: What can we do to safely restore our soil? This session brings together community voices and tools to explore how bioremediation—using plants, fungi, and microbes—can support recovery efforts.

We’ll share key findings from recent community surveys, break down the basics of bioremediation in a clear and approachable way, and create space to answer your most pressing questions. Most importantly, we’ll focus on what comes next—including resources, opportunities, and ways to get involved.

Whether you’re a resident, organizer, or local partner, this is an opportunity to learn, connect, and help shape a more accessible path forward.

This event is made possible through the generous support of the California Community Foundation (CCF).

Resilient Palisades is a 501c3 nonprofit focused on practical, local solutions. Our teams work on wildfire recovery, electrification, native habitat restoration, invasive plant removal, community education, climate policy, emergency readiness, water conservation, and more. We also collaborate with and support partners in less advantaged parts of Los Angeles because regional resilience must include every community.
