GRID Alternatives SoCal is thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Green Socials gathering – a space intentionally created for community leaders, green employers, sustainability advocates, and equity-driven organizations to connect, collaborate, and inspire one another! Our keynote speaker is Dr. Jo Tavares, the Director for the California Center for Climate Change Education at West LA College. Jo works with students, faculty, and community members to solve the climate crisis while improving lives by prioritizing projects centered on justice, equity, and economic mobility.

GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles leads teams of volunteers and job trainees to install solar electric systems for income-qualified families in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties, providing families with needed savings and giving area workers hands-on experience to help them find employment in the green-tech economy.
