Join us @The Roland Center (400 S Covina Blvd, La Puente, CA 91746) to build an inclusive sensory garden! Volunteers will help build wheelchair accessible planters, plant herbs/flowers, and mend the garden.
Purpose
The purpose of this event is to create an inclusive sensory garden. An inclusive garden is a garden built to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all ages and abilities and focuses on engaging all 5 senses.
Role
Volunteers will be able to participate in different roles such as: planter building, garden set up, planting, moving soil/compost/plants, and any other gardening-related tasks needed by the Roland Center.
