About Event

Join Dan Stein, founder and executive director of Giving Green, and Jennifer Stretton, founder of the World Climate Relay, for a practical, action-focused session on turning your concern for the climate into real-world impact.

This won’t be your average ‘awareness raising’ climate webinar where you hear the same alarmist warnings about our warming planet. Our aim is to leave attendees inspired with a clear path to action and connected to an ambitious community that will help you turn your time, energy, and donations into impact.

Dan and Jen will introduce the World Climate Relay, a global fundraiser uniting 50+ countries to move for the planet and raise money for Giving Green’s Top Climate Nonprofits. The two will explain why supporting these research-backed charities is an effective way to fight climate change and shift systems in favor of a decarbonized future.

Who is this for? Anyone who:

Cares about climate change and craves meaningful action

Is looking for a fun, ambitious fundraising challenge for 2026

Wants to join a community of ambitious, like-minded people in action

Is curious about high-impact ways to tackle the climate crisis

Wants to turn their movement—running, cycling, climbing, etc.—into a global impact!

What you’ll get out of it:

A clear introduction to the World Climate Relay and how to participate

Insight into Giving Green’s Top Climate Nonprofits and the research behind why supporting them can make a measurable difference

Practical tips for turning your participation and fundraising into real impact

Inspiration from a global movement of people already making a difference

By the end of the session, you’ll know how to get involved in the Relay, contribute to the world’s most effective climate solutions, and join a community of people moving the world for climate action.

Jennifer Stretton – World Climate Relay

Jen is an International Mountain Leader and the co-founder of Mieux Donner and the World Climate Relay, guiding expeditions across the Alps, the UK, and the Arctic while building organisations that drive high-impact climate action. Guiding in fragile ecosystems has shaped her concern for the planet and fueled her mission to transform the climate narrative - moving us from anxiety and paralysis to ambitious, measurable action that actually makes a difference.

In July 2024, Jen co-founded Mieux Donner, helping individuals and businesses give effectively to the world’s most impactful charities - raising over €1 million in our first 18 months. In October 2025, she co-founded World Climate Relay, recognising a gap for a global climate fundraiser and leveraging her outdoors network. She leads strategy, public speaking, and partnerships, coordinating our volunteer team to mobilise action on climate change.

Jen combines her experience in marketing and operations with a love of the outdoors to help organisations and individuals take bold steps toward meaningful climate impact.
