Destination Little Ethiopia is transforming the Fairfax Avenue corridor into a thriving, climate-resilient neighborhood. Through the Signature Streetscapes and Green Alleys Project, we’re reimagining public spaces with pedestrian-first infrastructure — decorative crosswalks, gateway signage, and native plantings that cool our streets, improve air quality, and build community pride. This April 11th, 10 AM to 1 PM, join us to plant native flowers, tend to growing trees, and learn how neighborhood infrastructure becomes a foundation for environmental justice and collective care.
On Saturday, April 11th, 10 AM to 1 PM, we’re gathering on Fairfax Avenue to get our hands in the soil. You’ll plant native species, water and tend trees, enjoy refreshments, and connect with neighbors to build a greener Little Ethiopia. No experience necessary — just show up ready to be part of something bigger.
